The Missing Link for Organizational Transformation is The Inner Leadership

As I was looking to go back to workplace after my 10 years of career break in the beginning of 2021, I soon became intrigued and fascinated to learn about the evolution of organizations and figuring out what is the best solution for creating the organizational culture and structure that bring happiness and fulfillment to individuals, and prosperity and aliveness to businesses and our planet.

After months of researching and reflecting, what I eventually came to conclusion with was surprising but totally made sense.

THE MISSING LINK IS THE INNER LEADERSHIP.

“The reason that organizations fail is not that they’re incompetent. It’s that they’re highly competent in an old paradigm.” - Dave Snowden

We need a change from the outside in paradigm to the inside out paradigm, that is to seek answers from within and led by our inner leadership, wisdom.

What we see outside is the reflection of our inside, this is the same for individuals and organizations. Without transformation of inside as individuals and collectives, we can’t have any significant and sustainable change outside in organizations, and solve complex problems in our ever challenging world.

There is an old Chinese saying, “小胜靠力,中胜靠智,大胜靠德,全胜靠道。” The meaning is, “Small success comes from brawn, medium success comes from intellect, big success comes from virtue, ultimate success comes from wisdom.”

We all have authentic inner leadership within us. We are all connected to universal intelligence, and have built-in human operating system for success.

As individuals, the key to THE INNER LEADERSHIP is Thought.

Sydney Banks said,

“Thought is not reality; yet it is through Thought that our realities are created. It is what we as humans put into our thoughts that dictates what we think of life.”

“You are one thought away from happiness, one thought away from sadness. The secret lies in thought.”

“The state of no thought is when the personal thought system finds perfect stillness, transcending time, space, and matter and finds the true nature of Mind.“

In recent Disney and Pixar’s film, “Luca”, it says, “Silenzio(Silence), Bruno”. When our personal thoughts are cleared, insights from the Universal Intelligence can come through and guide us to success.

As collectives, the key to THE INNER LEADERSHIP is Dialogue.

When we have dialogues and conversations with each other in the silence of our own thoughts(ego), synergy emerges and we get all the answers we seek in the organizations through collective insights.

David Bohm said, “Reality is wholeness.”

We often don’t see this reality because of our own personal thoughts, and we are stuck in our own illusions.

Seeing reality through wisdom, that comes through our insights, THE INNER LEADERSHIP, can set us free, and make quantum transformation in our personal lives and organizations.
